January started with the fabulous #QueenOfHearts birthday celebration for the ever-stylish Sharel Tan Ho. Everything about the event was divine—the breathtaking decorations, the thoughtful little gifts at every seat, and the carefully curated seating arrangements were all planned perfectly. Sharel’s birthday was indeed a night to remember!

In my quest to present Sharel with a unique and memorable gift, I found myself diving into the creative process, pouring my heart and soul into a unique piece of art. Despite a hectic work schedule, I persevered and finally completed it. Feast your eyes on this captivating illustration!
The inspiration behind the drawing 🎨🎁
Datin Sharel Tan Ho, managing director of DeFRED Jewellers and founder of LoveYS2, is the epitome of fashion and entrepreneurial success. Her impeccable style and drive for success inspired me to create this drawing.
I chose one of Sharel’s stunning OOTDs (outfit of the day) from her Instagram as the centrepiece. I envisioned myself stepping into her stylish shoes, striving to emulate her knowledge and panache someday.
The backdrop of the illustration features the enchanting city of Paris, France’s capital, with its iconic Eiffel Tower, a symbol of architectural beauty and love. Completed on March 15, 1889, this wrought-iron lattice tower on the Champ de Mars 🗼🇫🇷 has become a global emblem of romance and elegance.
Lastly, I incorporated orchids into the artwork to represent Singapore, my homeland, symbolising our national flower 🌺🇸🇬 and adding a touch of local charm.
