March is here ladies and gentlemen, so Spring is right around the corner. When the season changes so should our skincare regimen and the products we use daily. During the Winter months the air is cold and harsh, so our skin requires more hydration and more moisture. We tend to use more products during the Winter because our skin tends to be on the drier side. When our skin is dry it shows more wrinkles, looks dehydrated, and loses its natural glow.

During the colder months a regimen can consist of an:

  • Oil based cleanser
  • Soapy cleanser
  • Toner
  • Serum
  • Facial oil
  • Moisturiser

Many people during the colder months have such a routine 2x a day. This can vary according to skin type. There are some that use more than one toner, acid, and serum. There are so many more products that we use daily to achieve great skin that I have not mentioned.

During the Spring our daily routine can be much lighter and not require as many products. During the warmer months our skin can show signs of being too oily and shiny depending on skin type. Don’t let the change of the season fool you we still need hydration and moisture all year long so don’t skimp on products that offer these benefits.

During the warmer months a regimen can consist of a:

  • Cleanser
  • Toner
  • Serum
  • Oil
  • Moisturiser

The products you use during the Winter may have a heavier consistency. During the Spring our products should have a lighter consistency to accommodate the temperature and our skincare needs. There are many products that we use at night that we may not use during the day so change your regimen in a way that suits your skincare needs for the season to come.
